Christmas Day Makeup & OOTD! 

Hey Guys! :) I just wanted to give you an idea of what I wore 
for Christmas day! :) I hope you all had an amazing day, I know I did :)

Okay, Starting with Make-up..

So after washing my face I apply my Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the colour 001 transparent.
I usually apply this before and after applying foundation as I have oily skin! (ew..) This can be purchased at many drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots. 

I then apply my Maybelline New York Cover Stick Concealer in the colour 01 Ivory. Again, I apply this before and after applying foundation to create extra coverage on those places you want to hide! Like many of my make up products this can be purchased at many drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots.

Foundation time!! Now I apply my Max Factor Whipped Creme Foundation in the colour 50 Natural. As you can see it is pretty much empty! but yes, I do have a new foundation to use which you guys will no doubt see! I have had this foundation for a while so I can't remember exactly where it is from!

Next I applied my AVON In a Blink Eye-shadow and Liner pencil..
(which I use for my eyebrows) It does a perfect job! trust me :) but as you can see it is in desperate need of sharpening! I got this in the colour espresso quite a while ago, I'm not a fan of products from AVON but this seems to do the job and doesn't smudge throughout the day!

Now time for the eyes! :) So first I apply my Rimmel London Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner in the colour black to my eyelid, I usually go over this about two or three times as I like to make sure it is jet black! That is one con about this product. It sometimes cracks and turns out a grey-ish colour once dry. I then apply my Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in the colour Jet black. I love this eyeliner pencil but it can become very sticky and smudges very easily. I then apply my Maybelline New York The Rocket Volume Express Mascara in waterproof, as you can see I have had this mascara a long while as all of the writing is starting to wear off. I have purchased another mascara too!

We are now nearly finished! :) I then apply my Instant Glow Bronzing Powder in the colour Light. I have no idea where this came from to be honest! I think it was a gift and I think it came from Boots.
(a lot of confusion :S) I rarely apply this on a day to day basis as it contains quite a lot of glitter and it gets everywhere! 

Now for the Lip Balm ;) This is the same lip balm I created a post on a couple of months ago :) It's the NIVEA Soft Rose SPF15 Lip Balm :) I love this product, I only need to apply it  two to three times throughout the day depending on my day itself, on lazy days this may only be applied once and still be effective !

Now the lipstick! :) I hardly ever wear lipstick but I thought I may begin to, if you read my last post you will know that I was looking to try the Barry M Lacquer Crayon in the colour Ballet Pink! This lipstick doesn't have a colour it just clearly states on the bottom 'lipstick' in case we didn't already know :P I swatched it for you on my hand and it comes out like a pale pink.

Now for Nails.. :) 

I decided to wear my Collection 2000 Hot Looks 60 Seconds Nail Varnish in the colour Shimmey Shake I used this on three fingers and a thumb on each hand and then used my Red Evie Mai nail polish on the remaining 2 fingers :) I thought that it looked festive! 







And for my Jewellery.. :) 

This isn't the most adventurous jewellery but I thought I'd keep it simple :) For my earrings I just wore some plain star studs they are gold with a diamond in the star. My aunty bought these for me as a birthday present for my 18th last June.
I also wore my silver ring, which my parents bought back from Spain last New Year for me. I have very small fingers and it was the first ring I have found that fits me!

And I wore my gold ring, this was my Nan's eternity ring who sadly passed away last February. I tend to wear this most days but it is a little big for me (as usual) so I wear the silver one on top :)

So I've told you guys what makeup and jewellery I am wearing I will move onto clothes :) as you can see my hair is straightened and just left down :)

The Santa hat I have on actually belongs to my sister so I can't tell you where that is from ;) (I did not wear it all day :P )

I'm not sure where my boots were from as they were a birthday present, I have included an additional photo as you can't really see them in the photo above!

They are just a greyish/greenish colour, suede material and are knee high in legnth.

Thinking of buying this product! OPINIONS :)

I am thinking of buying the Barry M Lip Lacquer Crayon Ballet Pink 5 at Superdrug, although this is not much of a winter/Christmas colour I feel that calmer, softer, paler tones go best on my lips as I am not a fan of bold lip colours anyway but I have an olived skin tone, brown hair and blue/green eyes I feel that bold, bright colours are not going to work for me.

then I have been overloaded with college work and became ill so of course I couldn't upload then.. Girlfriend/Boyfriend Tag! :)

Hey guys!

First off; I know I have not posted for over a month now! I am just swimming in college work and need to get that done as it is my last year of college now :) *yay* but I am currently editing a video for you guys which will hopefully be up soon :)

So, I know this isn't the normal way of doing girlfriend/boyfriend tags but my boyfriend does not feel comfortable being on YouTube so I thought we could improvise ;) I guess its like a mini interview! ;) so lets get started....

haa, we met online in 2011.

2) Where was our first date?

I don't think we really went on a date.. the first time we met in January 2012 we went to morrisons.... LOL

Technically, a trip to morrisons ;) – but the first day I came down to meet you was the whole first date, Aylesbury and Morrisons then :P

3) What was your first impression of me?

My first impression of Danny was brave. it took him a lot to come and meet me as well as my parents at the same time.

Absolutely stunning and slightly mad in relation the bush outside :P

4) When did you meet my family?

8th April 2012 I met Danny's family :)

5) Weird habit of each other?

I wouldn't say he has a weird habit but he chews the side of his fingers and it drives me crazy ;)

Yes you do, drinking from your bottle (lucozade bottle ;)) whilst rubbing my arms ;)

6) How long have we been together?

We met in January and we class that as being together but we didn't make it official until 13th Feb 2012 so.. a year and 8 months :P

It’s just over 1 year and 8 months since we got together

7) Do we have any traditions?

Traditions? I don't think so.. its hard to keep things up when you're in a long distance relationship!

We both love snuggling up together, keeping warm, and also ‘web-camming’ every day

8) First thing you noticed about me?

The first thing I noticed about him was his height haha so much taller than me!

Product Review: Nivea Lip Care - Soft Rosé (SPF 10)

Hey Guys! :)

I just wanted to post a review on the Nivea lip care lip balm. In the colour soft rosé. I bought this lip balm to replace my cherry chapstick which you may have seen in my make-up collection video. Here is the link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dm9p0uC8is8

I enjoy sampling multiple lip balms as I love exploring the different textures and brands of lip balm/lip care. I can not go without my daily lip balm and applying this is a must! A popular brand in which I have tried is chapstick. but as sampling this from a friend I decided to go with Nivea and purchase this beauty!

Here is a photo of the Nivea lip care lip balm, sorry about the low quality photo guys, I just wanted to get this up and posted for you as I have not posted or recorded in a while!


This is the appearance of the lip balm from the front, I have only had this lip balm for just under a week but I am already loving it! As you can see the lip balm comes in a plastic packaging, identical to a lipstick product, I have never purchased a product from Nivea but this time was an exception!

Although the lip balm itself is a rose colour, it does not tint or stain the lips. I feel that the lip balm applies well and is only in need of a single coat, it finishes well on the lips with a smooth, un-greasy like appearance.


I purchased this product from Superdrug and it retails at £1.75 for Net wt:4.8g.

The one thing that I like best about this product is that it contains SPF 10. although this isn't as high as some past lip balms that I have purchased, containing SPF 15, any form of protection against your lips is a bonus for all seasons!



Pro's

• Soft and smooth to apply
• It is not greasy when applied and wears for a reasonable amount of time, depending on your activity
• Attractive packaging
• Anti-shine product
• Contains SPF 10
• No odd smell/taste
• Wearing time 3-4 hours

Con's

• Claims to tint your lips, but in my experience this is unsuccessful
