REVIEW: Lush Creamy Candy Bath (Bubble Bar Slice)
Lush - Creamy Candy Bath Review.
Hey guys! Just a review on the Creamy Candy Bath, Bubble Bar Slice from Lush!:)
This is the first ever product that I bought from lush! Many of times I was tempted to walk into the shop (mainly because of it's inviting smell!)
I used to have the idea that Lush's products were overrated and highly priced, which some of which still are! but there are many products in Lush which are a great value for money - and what can I say? I've pretty much fell in love with the place :)
So after looking (and smelling of course!) many of the products within the shop I decided to pick up the 'Creamy Candy Bath' mainly because of its appearance and inviting smell!
Although Lush claims that this smells like candy floss, I would say it smells much more sweet, giving an intense smell of roses (kind of like a summers day in the country side but much much more overpowering - again; in a good way of course!) the smell of this bubble bar is intense, you are able to smell it from the other side of the room when it's left in the bag.
When using this product it can clearly be cut in half so that you get your moneys worth, but some people prefer to put the whole thing in the bath to fill it up with bubbles to create a relaxing moment! When Creamy Candy bath is placed under a running tap the bath immediately fills with bubbles! I was amazed at how many bubbles this thing created :')
This Bubble Bar Slice retails at £2.60 and this is what Lush have to say about the product:
"If you'd normally reach for a sweet treat to lift your mood, this bubble bar does just the job. Its sweet candy floss smell, the same as our Rock Star soap, raises your energy levels and perks you up. It also offers extra moisturisation than the average bubble bar as it has a blend of almond and cocoa butter."
As Lush claim, it's main ingredient is Vanilla beans, but it also contains almond and cocoa butter (as said by Lush) which means that the product claims to make your skin not only smell nice afterwards but leave it feeling silky smooth! Many products claim to have this effect on your skin but unfortunately they do not meet their own standards, this product thankfully does! it left my skin still feeling silky the next day, this product is not only a relaxing option but a healthy one for the skin!
Pro's:
- Amazing smell!
- Good value for money (as it can be used more than once)
- Great appearance, very feminine/girly
- Fills the bath with bubbles
- Contains products which look after the skin, (vanilla beans, almond and cocoa butter)
- Suitable for sensitive skin, (I have very sensitive skin and it didn't give me any dryness, rashes or itchiness)
Con's:
- I personally don't think that this is a con but maybe a bit of both, the intense smell the product provides. As said above I could smell the product from the other side of the room, this may not be appealing to others.
As you can see I cannot state many Con's about this product therefore I would definitely recommend this to a friend! :)

Maybelline New York Super Stay 24h Waterproof Powder - Review!!
Maybelline New York Super Stay 24h Waterproof Powder - Review!
Hi guys! :) So, I know I haven't got the chance to post many blog posts or videos recently. I am currently revising for my theory test - in the hope that I pass!!! :)
Anyway, heres my review :)
So, as you can see the powder comes in the usual, expected, plastic packaging in which most powder products are in, with the simple maybelline new york text and a clear 'swatch' of the colour. Although I always find the actual colour of the powder varies so don't put your whole trust in this picture!
In my opinion, I think that the picture on the products' packaging is quite similar to the product itself. I purchased the product in the colour 21 Nude. I think that the product itself is very matte and provides good coverage (take that from a person with bad skin!) Although the product has good coverage and claims to be waterproof, I think it works well with very oily skin (such as mine!) although my skin still feels oily the powder minimizes this so it does not appear as oily. I am going on holiday in May, and I am currently trialling a number of waterproof products which I am able to wear whilst I am away
although I don't wear too much
make-up when on holiday.

mirror, unlike some of those products with the 'plastic-like' mirror to them. I tend to use this mirror for places in which require more attention such as applying liquid eyeliner to my eyelids. The product also comes with a sponge applicator although it is not made out of the fabric that most powder applicators are made from, I think the main purpose of it is to protect the mirror from becoming dirty.
I apply my powder with the powder brush which can be found in my previous blog posts, I purchased this powder from Superdrug (along with most of my other make-up products) for £6.99, You can purchase the product here:

PROS:
- Long lasting
- Great for oily skin
- Useful and attractive packaging
- Provides good coverage and colour - no need for bronzer!
- On sale in most drug stores and won't break the bank

CONS:
- May need to be reapplied depending on your activity

Overall, I would recommend this powder to anyone as it is suitable for any skin type and colour!
Thanks for reading guys:)

Christmas Day Makeup & OOTD!
Christmas Day Makeup & OOTD!
Hey Guys! :) I just wanted to give you an idea of what I wore
for Christmas day! :) I hope you all had an amazing day, I know I did :)
for Christmas day! :) I hope you all had an amazing day, I know I did :)
Okay, Starting with Make-up..
So after washing my face I apply my Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the colour 001 transparent.
I usually apply this before and after applying foundation as I have oily skin! (ew..) This can be purchased at many drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots.
I then apply my Maybelline New York Cover Stick Concealer in the colour 01 Ivory. Again, I apply this before and after applying foundation to create extra coverage on those places you want to hide! Like many of my make up products this can be purchased at many drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots.
Foundation time!! Now I apply my Max Factor Whipped Creme Foundation in the colour 50 Natural. As you can see it is pretty much empty! but yes, I do have a new foundation to use which you guys will no doubt see! I have had this foundation for a while so I can't remember exactly where it is from!
Next I applied my AVON In a Blink Eye-shadow and Liner pencil..
(which I use for my eyebrows) It does a perfect job! trust me :) but as you can see it is in desperate need of sharpening! I got this in the colour espresso quite a while ago, I'm not a fan of products from AVON but this seems to do the job and doesn't smudge throughout the day!
Now time for the eyes! :) So first I apply my Rimmel London Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner in the colour black to my eyelid, I usually go over this about two or three times as I like to make sure it is jet black! That is one con about this product. It sometimes cracks and turns out a grey-ish colour once dry. I then apply my Rimmel London Soft Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in the colour Jet black. I love this eyeliner pencil but it can become very sticky and smudges very easily. I then apply my Maybelline New York The Rocket Volume Express Mascara in waterproof, as you can see I have had this mascara a long while as all of the writing is starting to wear off. I have purchased another mascara too!
We are now nearly finished! :) I then apply my Instant Glow Bronzing Powder in the colour Light. I have no idea where this came from to be honest! I think it was a gift and I think it came from Boots.
(a lot of confusion :S) I rarely apply this on a day to day basis as it contains quite a lot of glitter and it gets everywhere!
Now for the Lip Balm ;) This is the same lip balm I created a post on a couple of months ago :) It's the NIVEA Soft Rose SPF15 Lip Balm :) I love this product, I only need to apply it two to three times throughout the day depending on my day itself, on lazy days this may only be applied once and still be effective !
Now the lipstick! :) I hardly ever wear lipstick but I thought I may begin to, if you read my last post you will know that I was looking to try the Barry M Lacquer Crayon in the colour Ballet Pink! This lipstick doesn't have a colour it just clearly states on the bottom 'lipstick' in case we didn't already know :P I swatched it for you on my hand and it comes out like a pale pink.
Now for Nails.. :)
I decided to wear my Collection 2000 Hot Looks 60 Seconds Nail Varnish in the colour Shimmey Shake I used this on three fingers and a thumb on each hand and then used my Red Evie Mai nail polish on the remaining 2 fingers :) I thought that it looked festive!
And for my Jewellery.. :)
This isn't the most adventurous jewellery but I thought I'd keep it simple :) For my earrings I just wore some plain star studs they are gold with a diamond in the star. My aunty bought these for me as a birthday present for my 18th last June.
I also wore my silver ring, which my parents bought back from Spain last New Year for me. I have very small fingers and it was the first ring I have found that fits me!
And I wore my gold ring, this was my Nan's eternity ring who sadly passed away last February. I tend to wear this most days but it is a little big for me (as usual) so I wear the silver one on top :)
My Outfit.. :)
So I've told you guys what makeup and jewellery I am wearing I will move onto clothes :) as you can see my hair is straightened and just left down :)
The Santa hat I have on actually belongs to my sister so I can't tell you where that is from ;) (I did not wear it all day :P )

Thinking of buying this product! OPINIONS :)
I am thinking of buying the Barry M Lip Lacquer Crayon Ballet Pink 5 at Superdrug, although this is not much of a winter/Christmas colour I feel that calmer, softer, paler tones go best on my lips as I am not a fan of bold lip colours anyway but I have an olived skin tone, brown hair and blue/green eyes I feel that bold, bright colours are not going to work for me.
Check it out here! :)
